Indiana comes to its senses

In a May 2 post, I wrote about the law in Indiana that would require booksellers to register "sexually explicit" material with the state. The definition of sexually explicit was likely to cover not only things such as Hustler books, but also YA fare a la Judy Blume.

Thank goodness a judge this week struck down the law. The attorney general apparently will not appeal the decision, but there's still a chance that lawmakers could reword the law's language and bring it to the table in the future.
